I've divided Yosemite into three areas: the Valley Floor itself, and the East and West side. The East side has the popular Wawona and Cran Flat campgrounds, while the West side has Tuolumne Meadows.

Lower Pines Camping Reservations
Lower Pines Campground is located in Yosemite National Park in Central California at 4000 feet in elevation in Yosemite Valley. Yosemite Valley contains many of the features the Yosemite National Park is famous for. LowerPines is one of the three reservation campgrounds in Yosemite Valley. All three reservation campgrounds (Upper, Lower, and North Pines) are located next to one another so the distance between campgrounds and other facilities is not a factor in determining which campground to choose. There are no electric, water, or sewer hook-ups available at individual campsites, although a dump station is located on site. The valley campgrounds can accommodate tents or RVs. Pets are permitted in family sites (they must be on a 6' leash and may not be left unattended). For more park information call (209)372-0200, or visit www.nps.gov/yose.
